Project Development Specialist - Serbia

What functions will you perform?
ID Energy Group is a Spanish company dedicated to the development and construction of renewable energy projects with a special focus on solar PV. The company is in a continuous process of international expansion and has already established itself in more markets: Spain, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Croatia, Romania, Italy and Chile. 
 
ID Energy Group is currently looking for a Project Development Specialist to reinforce its local team based in Belgrade, Serbia in close collaboration with Hungarian Project Development and Construction Team. . 
In this role, you will focus on opportunities for utility scale PV development in Serbia and support the growing of the company’s local projects. 
 
Responsibilities:
 

    • Participate in the renewable energy projects in Serbia (solar energy)
    • Review the necessary technical designs and studies required prior and during the project development process (technical layouts, connection studies, etc)
    • Support all administrative and technical aspects o for secured projects
    • Support the construction process of local projects
    • Market research and development of an in-depth knowledge of local market legislation, regulations, etc
    • Identification of project opportunities available lands and connection points
    • Research grid status and availability and liaise with the distribution and transmission system operators
    • Assessing land plots for ground mounted PV projects
    • Internal pipeline management and reporting 
    • Maintain the relationship and support the necessary contracts with external stakeholders e.g. local developers, land owners and business partners
    • Support ad-hoc tasks in order to achieve the company's business and growth strategy, ensuring business continuity regarding local company projects. 
Your profile


    • Technical university degree (preferably in electrical, energy engineering or related fields)
    • 2-3 years of working experience in similar position
    • Specific knowledge in the development/construction of renewable energy projects is an advantage
    • Problem–solving mindset and creative thinking
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    • Familiarity with the regulatory environment and solar industry standards in Serbia
    • Serbian and English knowledge is a must
