Real Estate Key Account Manager

What functions will you perform?
  • Lead the acquisition and leasing of land for renewable energy projects, including biomethane, wind, solar, and energy storage
  • Negotiate land purchase agreements, lease agreements, and option contracts with landowners, ensuring the terms align with project requirements and company objectives.
  • After the signature of the land contract, remain the first point of contact with the land owners throughout the whole project development process
  • Build and maintain relationships with landowners, real estate brokers, developers, local authorities, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all land acquisition processes comply with local regulations and land use requirements.
  • Understand the company’s renewable energy real estate requirements from land acquisition to project execution
  • Support other teams during the origination, development, construction and operation phases of renewable energy projects 
  • Participate in the identification of available land potentially suitable for the development of renewable energy projects
  • Close collaboration with the business development, investment, asset management and legal department
  • Manage the portfolio of land assets including handling payment obligations 
  • Contract management of already signed agreement including adaptation to eventual changes in laws and regulations affecting the real estate
  • Modifications of the real estate agreements in order to adapt to the requirements of the lenders.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks in order to achieve the company's business and growth strategy, ensuring business continuity regarding company projects
Your profile
  • 3-5 years of experience in key account management, real estate, or renewable energy project management, with a proven track record of success in both fields
  • University degree in finance/economics/business administration/real estate 
  • Knowledge of real estate principles, land acquisition, leasing, and development
  • Strong project management abilities with the capability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to assess land suitability, market conditions
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment
  • Very responsive, flexible and ensures on-time delivery
  • Native in Hungarian, fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel
  • “B” type of driving license

This senior-level role requires an candidate with a strong background in real estate transactions, with the ability to identify, acquire, and manage land suitable for renewable energy developments. Experience in renewable energy is a plus. The Real Estate Key Account Manage will work closely with the Head of Origination for Hungary and other internal stakeholders to secure and manage the land portfolio necessary for the company’s energy projects.
