IT Platform Administrator

What functions will you perform?
• Maintain and operate the company’s core IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, cloud services, email platforms, laptops/desktops, and hardware.
• Lead and deliver technical solutions aligned with wider business initiatives.
• Manage business-critical systems that provide operational continuity and competitive advantage in a global environment.
• Improve and automate processes, ensuring faster and smarter business operations while enabling analytics for meaningful insights.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, communicating project status, risks, and achievements.

Infrastructure & Systems

• Perform server administration tasks (user/group management, permissions, group policies, print services), analyze log events and ensure system components work seamlessly.
• Monitor data-center and cloud environments using existing management tools; respond to hardware or performance issues; support the building, testing, and deployment of new servers/services.
• Maintain internal infrastructure, including laptops/desktops, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, telephony systems, security updates, and all LAN/WAN network segments.
• Support the help desk and other IT teams in troubleshooting incidents, performing root-cause analysis, and providing second/third-level support.
• Conduct routine audits across systems, including backup integrity and disaster recovery tests.

Cybersecurity

• Ensure systems, servers, and cloud environments follow security best practices and company IT policies.
• Perform regular patch management, system hardening, and basic vulnerability remediation.
• Support identity and access management (IAM), including MFA and least-privilege principles.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts from existing tools (EDR/antivirus, firewalls, SIEM).
• Assist in incident response activities and collaborate with internal/external security teams.
• Contribute to periodic security audits, backups validation, and compliance requirements.


Your profile
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Strong server hardware knowledge and understanding of component-level and system failures.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Center Technician or equivalent roles in IT infrastructure.
• Ability to work autonomously and within distributed teams.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of technicians.
• Proven experience conducting failure analysis and resolving issues in real-time deployments.
• Hands-on experience with IPMI, diagnostic tools, testing frameworks, and firmware updates.
• Proficient in Windows Server administration; Linux PXE services knowledge is a plus.
• Experience troubleshooting networks across Layers 1–3.
• Windows and Linux scripting capabilities.
• Experience deploying and configuring virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
• Certifications preferred: CCNA, MCP/MCSA/MCSE.
• Experience collaborating with cybersecurity teams or SOC providers is an asset.

BASICS

• At least 2 years managing Azure environments.
• Solid expertise in Azure Cloud (IaaS, PaaS), virtualization technologies, and VMware.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Dynamic, flexible, and collaborative mindset.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Security-first approach and good judgment in handling critical incidents.

TRAINING AND COMPETENCES

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience administering Linux/Windows systems and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Advanced knowledge of server OS configuration and administration.
• Experience deploying workloads and services in cloud environments (Azure preferred).
• Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell) valued.
• Strong understanding of IT security principles, including network security, endpoint protection, encryption, patching, and secure configuration.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
