ID Energy Group is looking for new colleague to join our biogas/biomethane development team in Hungary to manage the engineering and design of our portfolio of projects under development located all around the country. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical and operational aspects of biogas and biomethane projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budget, quality and safety standards.
This position requires an in-depth understanding of renewable gases technologies and project management skills, plus the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, close cooperation with internal departments.

Key responsibilities:
- Manage the engineering design and integration of biogas/biomethane projects.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure that design meets all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
- Plan the technical scope of projects to align with company requirements
- Closely work with the project development team providing all the technical information required during the permitting process.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of biogas/biomethane projects (including design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operation).
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates and resolving issues as they arise.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Monitor and control project risks throughout all phases of the project.
- Support internal project team, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are clear, tasks are effectively delegated, and performance goals are met.
- Ensure all biogas and biomethane projects comply with relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as local, regional, and international standards.
- Market research, gain in-depth knowledge of the biogas industry, including business models and local regulations
- Ensure effective communication within the project team and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones. Provide regular project status reports to senior leadership, highlighting progress, issues, and solutions.
- Evaluate project performance and recommend process improvements to enhance future project delivery.
